The Whale Museum, an educational facility on whales and the marine environment in the North Atlantic, is located in Husavik (2.400 inhabitants), in the North of Iceland, which is also considered to be one of Europe´s No.1 whale watching locations. Founded in 1997 and a non-profit organization since 2004, the Museum now forms, in an interesting and attractive way, the educational component to the whale watching tours departing Husavik during the summer time.
