A Mountain Taxi is a modified jeep, adapted in various ways for exploring the wildest parts of Iceland.

Modifications include a raised chassis, giant tries and extra, reinforced suspensions and steering equipment, which enable mountain taxis to negotiate terrain that other vehicles find impossible to cross, such as glaciers. They are also fitted with sophisticated navigational and Telecommunications equipment. Because of their height, mountain taxis offer exceptional views while traveling.

Only a few passengers are taken on each guided tour, adding an element of personal companionship to your discovery of wild Icelandic nature.
