Our superb, private day trips and eco-tours bring you close to magnificent natural highlights, such as waterfalls, geysirs, glaciers, or birdlife, like puffins, cliff birds and more. In fact, a variety of excellent options exists within an hour of the capital, Reykjavík.

It less expensive than you think for truly private attention and service. Ever wondered what it is like having your own private driver-guide show you the best of a destination? How many times have you been at the last hotel on the coach pick-up or return schedule, or finished a coach tour only to be dropped at a terminal? Or pehaps you had a special interest you would have liked information or emphasis on, but your guide was too busy giving a 'canned talk' according to a checklist.

Enjoy prompt pick-up and direct return to your accommodation. If you would like to take a special landscape or animal picture, we gladly stop. Your questions are happily welcomed, and you don´t have to shout them from the back of a bus or over engine noise - your driver-guide is in the next seat.

We can also tailor-make tours that fit your special interests, such as bird watching, fly-fishing, waterfalls, glaciers, geology and other themes.

The owner, photographer and guide
Owner-operator, Michael J. Kissane, is uniquely qualified as a eco-tour operator and driver-guide, with a degree in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University and a diploma from Iceland´s rigorous professional guiding school. In addition, he has written chapters on Iceland for Fodor´s Travel Guides and many articles for Iceland Review.
