Coming to Iceland
Fly to Iceland
Most international flights arrive in Keflavík International airport. The airport is located on the Reykjanes penninsula, about a 40 minute's drive from Reykjavík. From time to time, you might also find flights arriving in Akureyri on the north coast and Egilsstaðir on the east.
Sail to Iceland
If you choose to come to Iceland by sea, the most obvious choice would be Nörröna, a ferry operated by the Faroese Smyril Line. Nörröna arrives in Seyðisfjörður, on the eastern coast, once a week. In addition, the shipping companies Eimskip and Samskip have passenger cabins on some of their freight ships.
